If you live in a low wind area and need to get your permanent magnet alternator/generator up to charging voltage, then these are your BEST choice! Five blade rotors may perform better in low wind conditions due to the increased surface area from a five blade rotor versus three. It is important to remember, however, that five blade rotors will not perform as efficiently at higher wind speeds due to the increased drag. Consider using five blade rotors when you are optimizing your generator for operation in challenging low wind environments!These 24 inch long wind turbine blades come with a stainless steel hub with a 1/2 inch center mounting hole to mount your blades onto any permanent magnet alternator with a 1/2 inch shaft.
